Ari Friedman

Ari is a writer, director and clown who grew up in an Ultra-Orthodox Jewish-Guatemalan home, only to turn around at 25 and get her hands and arms tattooed like a schmuck. She recently co-wrote the penultimate series finale episode of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY. She has worked as a writers' assistant in both comedy and drama rooms including TREK, THE COOL KIDS on FOX and BLESS THIS MESS on ABC. Ari's writing frequently touches upon identity crises through a humorous and heartfelt lens.
